  • First of all, download the Qualcomm USB driver zip file using this download link – Qualcomm Driver.

  • Now, enable the USB Debugging option on your Android device. To do that, follow these steps:

  • Here, open either PowerShell or Command Prompt. To do that, follow these steps:
    • While pressing the Shift key, right-click on the empty space. Then click on the ‘Open PowerShell Window Here’ option.

  • Type CMD in the address bar and hit enter to open the Command Prompt.

  • Then check if the device is connected properly or not using the ADB command. Use the following command:
    • In PowerShell: .\adb devices 
    • In Command Prompt: adb devices
  • If it shows the device serial code after entering the above command, that means the device is connected.
  • Now, you need to boot the device into Download Mode or EDL Mode. To do that, use the following command depending on the mode you are using:
    • In PowerShell: .\adb reboot edl
    • In Command Prompt: adb reboot edl
  • After that, open the Control Panel on your computer and then the Device Manager. 
  • Here, you will find the “QHSUSB_BULK” option in the ‘Other Devices’ section. You will see an exclamation mark on QHSUSB_BULK that indicates that the driver is outdated or not installed. That leads your device to not be recognized by the computer.
  • Then right-click on the QHSUSB_BULK driver and then click on the “Update Driver Software” option.

  • It will open a window asking you where to search for the driver. Select “Browse my computer for driver software”.
